ABSTRACT
The electrochemical oxidation of tetraphenylborate ions was investigated by using silicone rubber based graphite electrode. An indirect voltammetric method was elaborated for the determination of potassium and caesium. A method is also given for the determination of potassium with sodium tetraphenylborate by using amperometric end-point indication. The latter method is more accurate. The relative standard deviation is ± 0.85%.
