The aim of this study is to establish whether Si 3 N 4 whisker-reinforced 2124 Al composite fabricated by a simple powder metallurgical method without TMP could produce superplastic behaviour. The relationship between mechanical properties and strain rate in this composite is then investigated by performing tensile tests at a temperature of 525°C
