ABSTRACT
Effects of metal surfaces, such as aluminium, silver and gold, on the melting behavior thermal polymerization long-chain diynoic acids having a diacetylene group at different positions were investigated by analyses using DSC, TG other methods. The surface effects metals significant in order Ag, Al Au. These are attributable to anchoring carboxyl chemisorption, which leads unfavorable condition for heptadeca-2,4-diynoic acid. In case tricosa-10,12-diynoic acid, containing flexible methylene chain, inserted between COOH C≡C−C≡C groups, causes rather favorable effect polymerization.
