ABSTRACT
The motion of the poles and zeros of special solutions of certain nonlinear and linear partial differential equations is shown to be interpretable in terms of equivalent many-body problems. Several solvable many-body models are thus introduced and discussed. The treatment is limited to problems involving a finite number of particles moving in one space dimension.
