ABSTRACT
A bstract We use a direct QCD approach to carry out the next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic (NNLL) resummation for observables groomed with modified mass-drop tagger (Soft Drop β = 0). focus on which are additive given an arbitrary number of soft-collinear emissions. For this class observables, we arrange structure NNLL terms into two distinct categories. The first defines simplified inclusive tagger, whereby collinear is directly related ungroomed observables. second clustering correction takes particularly simple form when Cambridge-Aachen (C/A) algorithm used cluster jets. provide, in addition jet mass, resummed predictions, matched NLO, range angularities mMDT grooming. Moreover, also include time same calculation, finite z cut effects computed at NLL level alongside small results simultaneously improves upon both calculations mass phenomenological studies date. While simplicity e + − collisions, essential develop process independent and hence appropriate NLO matching our applicable hadron collider phenomenology.
