ABSTRACT
A bstract An integral representation of the 1-loop partition function for charged scalars and spinors, minimally coupled to a uniform U(1) field on S 2 , is given in terms SO(1 2) Harish-Chandra group characters evaluated exactly Hurwitz ζ -functions. Analytically continuing field, we interpret path integrals as quasicanonical functions dS with an electric field. The character itself obtained trace over states living at future boundary de Sitter has quasinormal mode expansion. imaginary part captures Schwinger pair creation static patch finite temperature. thermal enhancement most noticeable scalar masses below Hubble leads non-monotonicity current This parameter range, when dimensionally reducing from or rotating Nariai spacetime, excluded by Swampland-inspired bounds. Around AdS black hole, contrast there threshold creation.
