ABSTRACT
We present results for matched distributions of a range dijet event shapes at hadron colliders, combining next-to-leading logarithmic (NLL) accuracy in the resummation exponent, next-to-next-to leading (NNLL) its expansion and order (NLO) pure alpha_s expansion. This is first time that such matching has been carried out hadronic final-state observables colliders. compare our to Monte Carlo predictions, with without multi-parton tree-level fixed-order calculations. These studies suggest hadron-collider have significant scope constraining both perturbative non-perturbative aspects QCD. The differences between various calculational methods also highlight limits relying on simultaneous variations renormalisation factorisation scale making reliable estimates uncertainties QCD predictions. discuss sensitivity topology multi-jet events, which are expected appear many New Physics scenarios.
