ABSTRACT
A bstract We propose an approach for measuring the moments of hadronic invariant mass distribution in semileptonic $$ {B}_s^0 <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"> <mml:msubsup> <mml:mi>B</mml:mi> <mml:mi>s</mml:mi> <mml:mn>0</mml:mn> </mml:msubsup> </mml:math> meson decays using a sum-of-exclusive technique. Using present and foreseen knowledge about exclusive decays, we estimate uncertainties on kinematic distribution. Semileptonic can be described, as their B 0 counterpart, Heavy Quark Expansion (HQE), with only difference between mesons being SU(3) F breaking effects that change numerical values non-perturbative HQE parameters. extract parameters from our estimates moments, showing potential proposed method. identify set required measurements future precision measurement.
