ABSTRACT
A bstract We study the defect operator product expansion (OPE) of displacement operators in free and interacting conformal field theories using replica methods. show that as n approaches 1 a contact term can emerge when OPE contains twist d − 2. For general states we give evidence only possibility is from becomes stress tensor → limit. This implies quantum null energy condition (QNEC) always saturated for CFTs with gap. As check, independently large class near vacuum states, second variation entanglement entropy given by simple correlation function averaged studied Hofman Maldacena. suggests sub-leading terms are controlled version spin-3 non-local light ray speculate about possible origin such operator. this contribution condenses to leads violations QNEC saturation.
