ABSTRACT
Durum wheat (Triticum turgidum var. durum) is an important crop in Europe, particularly the Mediterranean countries. Fusarium head blight (FHB) considered as one of most damaging diseases, resulting yield and quality reduction well contamination grain with mycotoxins. Three winter durum cultivars originating from Austria, Slovakia, Poland were analyzed during 2012–2014 seasons for FHB incidence mycotoxin accumulation harvested grain. Moreover, effects sowing density delayed date evaluated climatic conditions Southern Poland. Low disease severity was observed 2011/2012 all analyzed, high occurrence recorded 2012/2013 2013/2014 seasons. graminearum abundant pathogen, followed by avenaceum. Through three seasons, cultivar Komnata susceptible to accumulation, while Auradur IS Pentadur showed less symptoms. High susceptibility cv. reflected number isolates elevated (deoxynivalenol, zearalenone, moniliformin) content this across Nivalenol identified samples only. Genotype-dependent differences plants sown at optimal but not date. It can be hypothesized that bred Austria Slovakia show towards than because environmental allowing more efficient selection breeding materials.
