ABSTRACT
The Grp1 locus confers broad-spectrum resistance to the potato cyst nematode species Globodera pallida and rostochiensis is located in GP21-GP179 interval on short arm of chromosome V potato. A high-resolution map has been developed using diploid mapping population RHAM026, comprising 1,536 genotypes. flanking markers GP21 GP179 have used screen genotypes for recombination events. Interval resistances G. Pa2 Ro5 resulted two nearly identical LOD graphs with highest score just north marker TG432. Detailed analysis 44 recombinant showed that could not be separated same location between SPUD838 It suggested quantitative both at mediated by one or more tightly linked R genes might belong NBS-LRR class.
