ABSTRACT
The main objective was to study the anatomy of adductor longus by ultrasound and cadaveric dissection, correlate findings with different approaches described, evaluate feasibility defining a "safe window" for interventional musculoskeletal procedures. anatomical performed on six pieces, while evaluations were both lower limbs 26 subjects (n = 52). Ultrasound variables included number saphenous veins, location vein in relation proximal myotendinous junction, vessels within or superficial longus, distance between dermis inferior border anterior branch obturator nerve. Key anatomic risk factors identified cadavers great vein, nerve, vascular network traversing longus. revealed that 91.4% cases had at least one vessel junction cross-sectional area, almost 60% showed two five thickness muscle, nerve located mean depth 3.63-3.93 cm. It not possible define "safe" approach area without damaging any neurovascular bundle due high variability route these along Therefore, use guide procedure is highly recommended.
