ABSTRACT
Fatigue is described as a dominant and disturbing symptom of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) regardless the advances in pharmacological treatment. also found to correlate with depression. The objective was evaluate impact moderate-to-high intensity, aerobic resistance exercise person-centered guidance on fatigue, anxiety depression, older adults RA. Comparisons were made between (> 65 years) RA taking part 20-week intensity at gym (n = 36) or home-based light 38). Assessments performed baseline, 20 weeks, 52 weeks. Outcomes differences Multidimensional Inventory (MFI-20), Visual Analog Scale (VAS fatigue), Hospital Anxiety Depression (HADS). Analysis metabolomics performed. subscales "physical fatigue" "mental MFI-20 symptoms depression using HADS scale improved significantly week group compared control group. Exercise did not influence global fatigue rated by VAS "reduced motivation", activity" "general MFI-20.
