ABSTRACT
Challenges in practice-oriented teaching at university clinics are increasing. A lack of resources contrasts a growing number students. Digital lectures, seminars, and blended-learning concepts enable resource-efficient effective ophthalmology. To implement evaluate digital concept combining bedside the Department Ophthalmology Hannover Medical School (MHH). Following National Competence-Based Learning Objectives Catalogue for Medicine (NKLM), theoretical units were combined with practical in-person formats. The includes: on-demand three-day, digitally pre- post-prepared seminar on basic examination methods, enhanced teaching. was piloted cohort. Student feedback recorded via eLearning system compared previous evaluations. proved feasible, communicable, verifiable. Educators satisfied student preparation. Learners rated implementation positively, ophthalmology improved by 10 ranks MHH medical subject rankings. Satisfaction increased significantly. Combining asynchronous preparation review synchronous seminars enables well-accepted. Further studies required to its nationwide impact exam performance.
