ABSTRACT
Perioperative and short/mid-term survival rates of dialysis-dependent patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), who undergo coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), the factors influencing mortality are not well evaluated In China. We retrospectively analyzed perioperative postoperative 1-, 3-, 5-year 53 ESRD underwent CABG, compared related to all-cause during follow-up. Survival were expressed as Kaplan-Meier curves, follow-up using log rank (Mantel-Cox) test. There eight deaths, resulting in 15.1% mortality. Intraoperative intra-aortic balloon pump use (P = 0.01), advanced age 0.0027), high EuroSCORE II score 0.047) associated increased Forty-five discharged followed from 2 months 10 years (median, 4.2 years) postoperatively. 19 including cardiac deaths (10/19, 52.6%). Comparisons between groups indicated that presence peripheral (PAD) 0.025); 93.3, 79.5, 66.8%, respectively. The results long-rank analysis PAD was a risk factor for (log χ2 4.543; P 0.033). Dialysis-dependent had unsatisfactory short- medium-term after CABG. affecting patients' survival. Multidisciplinary teamwork is needed enhance management reduce complications, improve these patients.
