ABSTRACT
For surface electromyography (sEMG) to become widely used in fecal incontinence (FI) etiology assessment, one would have create a simple, step-by-step, computer-aided, electromyography-based algorithm that the basis for computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) system. Thus, aim of this work was develop such an algorithm. Each patient included study underwent structured medical interview, general physical examination, and proctological examination. Patients scored more than 10 points on severity index (FISI) further tests rectoscopy, anorectal manometry, transanal ultrasonography, multichannel sEMG, assessment anal reflexes. with fully diagnosed FI were into group.
