ABSTRACT
Most patients with mantle cell lymphoma present a diffuse or nodular infiltration of the involved organs at diagnosis. We two rare morphological variant, displaying partial involvement zone. Patient 1 presented an enlarged inguinal lymph node, which showed marked follicular hyperplasia singly spread Cyclin D1+ small lymphoid cells in zones. An additional node biopsy taken 3 months later same pattern. 2 classical bone marrow and gastro-intestinal involvement. However, revision appendectomy specimen 4 years earlier pronounced Mantle zone has rarely been reported many represent early manifestation lymphoma. Our cases also illustrate that inclusion anti-cyclin D1 antibody diagnostic panel antibodies to study unexplained hyperplasia, might be advised.
