ABSTRACT
When only the TNM classification is used to predict survival in gastric cancer (GC) patients, impact of degree lymphadenectomy on prognosis neglected. This study aimed establish a more effective nomogram based log odds negative lymph nodes/T stage ratio (LONT) surgically treated GC patients. The data resected patients were extracted from Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program (SEER) database. Univariate multivariate Cox regression analyses identify significant prognostic factors. The performance was assessed using calibration plot, concordance index (C-index), area under (time-dependent receiver operating characteristic) curve (AUC) compare predicted probability score groups. The results showed LONT as an independent factor for cancer-specific (CSS) overall (OS), clinicopathological After removing potential redundancy, LONT, T stage, N location age final model. model had higher C-index (0.736 ± 0.012) AUC (0.798) than staging system (0.685 0.012 0.744). could difference between any two adjacent groups terms CSS OS.High associated with improved other effectively OS resectable patients.
