ABSTRACT
To assess the diagnostic value of spectral parameters in differentiating adrenal adenomas from metastases based on dual-layer detector CT (DLSCT).Patients with or who underwent enhanced DLSCT adrenals were enrolled. The values virtual non-contrast images (CTVNC), iodine density (ID) values, and Z-effective (Z-eff) normalized (NID) slopes HU curves (s-SHC), iodine-to-CTVNC ratios tumors measured each phase. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) used to compare values.Ninety-nine patients 106 lesions (63 adenomas, 43 metastases) included. In venous phase, all significantly different between (all p < 0.05). combined showed a better performance phase than other (p had larger area under ROC curve (AUC) differential diagnosis metastases, sensitivity specificity 74.4% 91.9%, respectively. lipid-rich lipid-poor CTVNC s-SHC also AUC parameters, 97.7%, 79.1% 91.2%, 93.1%, respectively. On DLSCT, could help distinguish metastases. iodine-to-CTVNC, highest
