ABSTRACT
Macroscopic real-time evaluations of the histopathology and degree invasion colorectal polyps help to select most suitable endoscopic treatment method. Dual-focus (DF) narrow-band imaging (NBI) is a new enhancement system that uses digital optical methods enhance view blood vessels on mucosal surfaces. However, superiority this technique over standard techniques has not been previously reported. The aim study was determine whether two-stage systems in generation endoscopes will increase diagnostic accuracy polyp recognition. The included 270 patients, 386 were diagnosed removed. assessed with white light NBI using one- systems, respectively. After being classified according Kudo pit pattern schemes, removed histopathologically verified.Regarding non-neoplastic lesions (Kudo I II), no difference observed recognition when NBI-DF function. We improved preliminary diagnoses IIIL (from 87.16 90.09%, p < 0.05) IIIS 87.29 92.79%, 0.01). also increased IV 88.24 94.12%, V patterns more distinct imaging, increasing from 91.67 100%.Using electronic colorization mucosa for differentiating neoplastic potential.
