ABSTRACT
Abstract Objective We had previously reported endoscopic central and lateral neck dissection via breast combined with an oral approach for papillary thyroid cancer treatment. In this study, we optimized the procedure Wu’s seven steps to make quicker easier. Methods are: (1) establish working space, (2) isolate sternocleidomastoid internal jugular vein, (3) dissect approach, (4) lymph nodes (5) inferior board of level IV (6) remove tissues levels IV, III, II (7) wash space place drainage tubes. Twelve patients were assigned group, 13 contrast group. The operative group was same as except a few key differences, such that dissected first vein(IJV) from cricoid cartilage down venous angle. Results short operation time injuries vein. There no statistical differences in other clinicopathological features or surgical complications. Conclusion It appears are effective safe.
