ABSTRACT
New accurate measurement of tensor analyzing power $$T_{20}$$ in the reaction $$\gamma + \mathbf {d}\rightarrow \pi ^0 +d$$ has been performed at the VEPP-3 storage ring at Budker Institute, in an energy range $$200<E_\gamma <500$$ MeV and a pion emission angle $$90^\circ<\theta _\pi ^{cm}<140^\circ $$ . Preliminary results of data analysis are presented and compared to theoretical calculations.
