Laser interstitial thermal therapy (LITT) is a stereotactic neurosurgical procedure used to treat neoplastic and epileptogenic lesions in the brain. A variety of advanced technological instruments such as frameless navigation systems, robotics, intraoperative MRI are often described this context, although surgical can also be performed using standard setup diagnostic suite.We report on our experience technique Leksell frame suite perform LITT.LITT safely suite, making available even neuro-oncology centers without setup.
