ABSTRACT
Abstract A total of 289 cloacal swabs from pigeons 29 different breeders in Germany were collected. In addition, samples exhibited at shows The detailed health status the pigeon flocks was recorded. Samples analysed for presence recently discovered rotavirus and circovirus. Pigeon found 10.3% circoviruses 65.5% sampled lofts. study revealed a strong relationship between attendance occurrence clinical signs. higher prevalence animals indicates that exhibitions are risk factor transmission this pathogen.
