ABSTRACT
Abstract Various approaches toward the development of sustainable software systems have been proposed by requirements engineering community over last decade. We conducted a systematic mapping study, analyzed 55 publications, and identified 29 that published since year 2000. how evolved time publications authors are influenced each other. Furthermore, in terms their supported activities, along with evidence provided publications. Additionally, we also which sustainability definitions used, if an iterative application is discussed, provide tool-support for practitioners. noticed increase on years, whereas majority discuss based same multi-dimensional concept. Although different case studies already conducted, lack industrial application. Our main findings concern need evaluation can be applied agile processes. promote supporting tools to support practitioners adapting approaches.
