ABSTRACT
SARS-CoV-2 is the cause of COVID-19. The three-dimensional morphology viral particles existing and multiplying in infected cells has not been established by electron tomography, which different from cryo-electron tomography using frozen samples. In this study, we establish morphological structure reconstruction images obtained transmission microscopy biological samples embedded epoxy resin. characteristic roots spike structures were found to be arranged at surface a virion covered with an envelope. A high-electron-density that appears nucleocapsid was observed inside envelope on reconstructed tomography. budded vacuoles cytoplasm morphologically identical those outside cells, suggesting mature infectious already produced vacuoles. Here, show To control infection, inhibition release would new target development prophylactic agents against SARS-CoV-2.
