Archetypes of blockchain-based business models in enterprise networks

Abstract Many enterprises are currently engaged in developing blockchain-based business models. Enterprise networks offer a variety of potential applications for blockchain solutions as they benefit from transparency and security well automation handling data, material, financial flows along their supply chains. Despite profound potentials, the indicated models still early stages need further investigation. To provide an overview existing context enterprise networks, underlying paper designs multidimensional taxonomy identifies several archetypes businesses. For development, data 101 start-ups serves basis empirical validation. Using hierarchical clustering k-means method, seven that sharpen understanding how affect enable new derived. The proposed work results intended to be applied future research practice classify assess integration into support ones leverage emerging technological capabilities.
