ABSTRACT
Recently, a growing number of macromolecules such as peptides and proteins have been formulated into various microbicide formulations for the prevention sexually transmitted infections. However, fast reliable high-throughput method quantitating peptide/protein in polymer-based is still lacking. As result, we developed validated reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography quantitation gp120 fragment LL-37 simultaneously gel formulations. This was capable detecting limit linearity (regression coefficient 0.999) within range 0.625-80 1.25-80 µg mL-1, respectively. The lower quantification 1.14 0.31 Method validation demonstrated acceptable intra- inter-day RSD % (<5 %) accuracy (95.67-100.5 %). Formulating both polymeric pharmaceutical showed high extraction efficiency (in 95.90 ± 3.03 to 111.45 2.51 Using this method, were able separate identify forced degraded products from without affecting dosage forms. Furthermore, detect degradants that unable be revealed using eletrophoresis.
