ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to determine the effects selection, educational background, age and gender on strength motivation attend pursue medical school. Graduate entry (GE) students (having Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field) Non-Graduate Entry (NGE) only completed high school), were asked fill out Strength Motivation for Medical School (SMMS) questionnaire at start measures willingness education even face difficulty sacrifice. GE (59.64 ± 7.30) had higher as compared NGE (55.26 8.33), so did females (57.05 8.28) males (54.30 8.08). 7.9% variance SMMS scores could be explained with help a linear regression model age, background/selection predictor variables.
