ABSTRACT
The purpose of the present study was to evaluate negative automatic thoughts and anxiety control as predictors change produced by cognitive-behavioral treatment youths with disorders. Forty-five high-anxious children aged between 9 12 years who were selected from primary school population, received a standardized CBT intervention that provided in group format. Before after intervention, completed scales perceived over anxiety-related events well questionnaire for measuring DSM-defined disorders symptoms, which outcome measure. Results indicated effective reducing children's symptoms. Most importantly, reduction symptoms significantly associated decrease an increase control, provides support notion these variables are candidate mediators anxious youths.
