ABSTRACT
Two new eudesmane-type sesquiterpene lactones were isolated by column chromatography from the CHCl3 extract of the endemic plant Artemisia halophila. Their structures were elucidated based on PMR and 13C NMR spectral data and an X-ray crystal structure analysis. The eudesmanolide artesin and 7-methoxycoumarin were identified for the first time from this Artemisia species.
