ABSTRACT
Paralongidorus rex was found for the first time in Poland and Ukraine. This paper describes females juveniles from four populations of this species on basis morphology morphometrics provides molecular characterization using 18S, ITS1 D2-D3 expansion segments 28S rRNA gene sequences. Morphometrically, these differed slighty V ratio (means populations: 41.9; 42.7; 46.1; 46.8) odontostylet length (166.6; 170.6; 191.5; 193.2). Phylogenetic analysis showed that P. had a sister relationship with iranicus. PCR-D2-D3 28S-RFLP diagnostic profiles five enzymes are given. Additionally, information new host plants map distribution provided. The record nematode species, previously identified as sp. (GenBank: AY601582) Slovakia, is defined based comparison sequences gene. Finally, remarks potential importance grapevine production
