ABSTRACT
To determine the effectiveness of iridectomy, capsulotomy and anterior vitrectomy through chamber to treat misdirection syndrome in pseudophakic nanophthalmic eyes. This was a non-comparative study seven eyes from four consecutive patients. All developed after successful cataract surgery. Treatment for involved peripheral iridectomy using 25-gauge vitreous cutter. The best-corrected visual acuity, intraocular pressure posterior segment findings were recorded before Resolution aqueous achieved all but one eye. single case recurrence observed mean follow-up 45.6 ± 21.5 months caused by closure capsule hole Elschnig’s pearls. eye successfully treated enlargement lens with surgery 28.7 4.4 mmHg, this significantly reduced 13.7 1.3 mmHg at final visit. patient, who had uveal effusion, maintained their acuity. In study, we investigated an alternative option treatment We undertook cutter, which able create communication between chambers.
