ABSTRACT
Abstract Purpose To compare the morphological and biomechanical properties of normal cornea keratoconus at different stages. Methods A total 408 patients (517 eyes) with were included in this study. According to Topographic Keratoconus (TKC) grading method, was divided into stage I (TKC = 1, 130 eyes), II 1–2, 2, 164 III 2–3, 3, 125 IV 3–4, 4, 98 eyes). 158 subjects (158 recruited as group. The corneal parameters obtained Scheimpflug tomography (Pentacam) visualization technology (Corvis ST), receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves drawn. Results Each most keratoconic eyes significantly from those study ( p < 0.001). ROC curve demonstrated that showed high efficiency diagnosing (the area under (AUC) > 0.9), Belin-Ambrósio deviation (BAD-D) Tomographic Biomechanical Index (TBI) showing higher efficiency. BAD-D TBI differentiating stages (AUC 0.963). comparison did not reveal statistically significant differences for TBI. Conclusion can effectively diagnose keratoconus. Moreover, is same all stages, while diagnostic other increases increase
