ABSTRACT
Abstract Technical progress is disrupting the mobility sector. New door-to-door (D2D) integrators promise to offer smart by packaging together different services such as car-sharing and public transport. However, providers up now have rarely entered into value co-creation relationships. As a result, citizens are offered that cannot be considered truly smart. Although has been subject of numerous studies taking service-dominant logic perspective, this research often lacked empirical evidence. To close gap, we conceptualize between D2D integrator applying Activity Theory. Based on qualitative study in German sector, identify several inhibitors from viewpoint providers. In addition, show how these serve triggers for adaptations, ultimately leading formation relationship.
