ABSTRACT
Abstract In the present investigation, Na 2 O–CaO–SiO –B O 3 –Ag glasses were prepared using traditional melt-quenching process, with Ag content progressively raised from 0 to 4 wt.%, at expense of B , in chemical composition these glasses. The created glasses’ physical, mechanical and electrical characteristics measured. bone bonding capacity as-prepared specimens was evaluated not only by vitro studies treatment simulated body fluid but also vivo albino rat model different time intervals up 28 days. obtained findings revealed that increasing gradually improved fracture toughness samples approximately 3.94, 11.84, 27.63, 50%, fortunately slight decreases microhardness, i.e. 1.02, 2.73, 8.90 16.43% other properties. All had conductivities 2.36, 2.65, 2.84, 3.59, 4.23 × 10 ‒5 S/m when frequency 1 MHz, compared 1.36, 1.58, 1.72, 2.10, 2.42 ‒4 for same 20 MHz. Furthermore, addition a favorable function improving bioactivity glass samples, as evidenced data, no cytotoxicity seen. Based on attractive findings, it is possible produced would be suitable orthopedic applications load-bearing-sites. Graphical
