ABSTRACT
Abstract The component additive model UNiSeCs II for simulating the physicochemical behaviour of radionuclides americium, plutonium and selenium in agricultural soils is presented. validated by estimating distribution coefficients (K d ) these elements measured batch experiments from literature. For all three elements, resulting average relative deviations experimental values are smaller than a factor 2.5. This indicates that has potential to significantly improve predictions radioecological models normally use tabulated K IAEA which known have large uncertainties. Using II, soil solution parameters most important partitioning Am, Pu Se identified single parameter variations.
