ABSTRACT
Abstract This article studies the nonreciprocity of a system that consists bistable element coupled to monostable through contactless magnetic interaction. To illustrate concept, is physically realized using pendulum interacts with stationary magnet and classical pendulum. A numerical model implemented simulate nonlinear dynamics system. Both simulations experiments show exhibits strong amplitude-dependent in response initial excitations. At small input amplitudes, has an intrawell minimal transmission energy whether excitation exerted on side or other side. However, at high amplitude, nonreciprocal behavior observed: causes interwell which considerably reduces distance between two pendulums allows be efficiently transmitted interaction; does not cause any results limited transmission. The combination bistability interactions exhibit very nonreciprocity, may useful wide range applications.
