ABSTRACT
Abstract Sexuality and intimacy are important aspects of life that frequently compromised after severe injury or illness, yet these often overlooked by medical rehabilitation professionals. This case series describes the Occupational Therapy Intimacy program at a Military Treatment Facility (MTF). Three diverse clients with range physical, cognitive emotional impairments were chosen to illustrate complexities Program this MTF, unique skills employed Therapists. Consistent themes discovered include: perceived value program; appreciation safe spaces discuss personal topics; enhanced awareness role identity, body image, regulation. These cases sexuality interventions may have profound effects on injured service members, improving social reintegration, quality life.
