Treatment of isolated distal deep vein thrombosis: an international survey of healthcare professionals

ABSTRACT
Abstract Isolated distal deep venous thrombosis (iDDVT) is an infra-popliteal DVT without pulmonary embolism (PE). It a common condition, but its management remains debated. We conducted survey distributed by email to the members of French Society Vascular Medicine, Thrombosis Canada, Swiss Angiology and INVENT-VTE research networks; Our objectives were determine how healthcare professionals specialized in manage iDDVT obtain experts input on design future clinical trial.
