ABSTRACT
Abstract Introduction The use of large, non-sample specific metabolite reference libraries often results in high proportions false positive annotations untargeted metabolomics. Objective This study aimed to measure and curate a library polar metabolites lipids present cardiac microtissues. Results Untargeted ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-coupled mass spectrometry measurements microtissue intracellular extracts were annotated by comparison against four spectral databases retention time library. combined create 313 1004 lipids. Conclusions curated will facilitate higher confidence annotation spectrometry-based metabolomics
