ABSTRACT
Abstract Purpose Reported prevalence of cancer-related fatigue (CRF) among childhood cancer survivors (CCS) varies widely, and evidence on factors associated with CRF CCS is limited. We aimed to investigate the its adult in Switzerland. Methods In a prospective cohort study, we invited who survived at least 5 years since last diagnosis, were diagnosed when age 0–20 treated Inselspital Bern between 1976 2015 complete two fatigue-measuring instruments: Checklist Individual Strength subjective subscale (CIS8R; increased 27–34, severe ≥ 35) numerical rating scale (NRS; moderate 4–6, 7–10). collected information about previous treatment medical history, calculated β coefficients for association CIS8R/NRS scores potential determinants using multivariable linear regression. Results included 158 (participation rate: 30%) median study 33 (interquartile range 26–38). Based CIS8R, 19% ( N = 30) reported fatigue, yet none fatigue. was female sex, central nervous system (CNS) tumors, sleep disturbance, endocrine disorders. Lower levels observed 30–39 compared those younger. Conclusions A considerable proportion CRF. Implications Cancer Survivors are < 30 old, have history CNS tumor, report or an disorder should be screened
