ABSTRACT
The study of the spatial patterns and temporal changes cropland is important to understand underlying factors functional effects agricultural landscape. On other hand, crop dynamics mapping essential know overall agro-spatial diversity area. Therefore, this paper addressed a spatio-temporal analysis cropping pattern change in Bogra district Bangladesh over last 16 years (between 1988/89 2004/05). In paper, from multi-temporal multi-sensor satellite images was described. Landsat TM IRS P6 LISS III were used with GIS for analysis. First, seasonal maps derived object-based classification images, then two-date classified image differencing overlay technique decision rules applied. Cropping analyzed quantitative way this, Integrated Land Water Information System (ILWIS) Change Modular (LCM) IDRISI Andes used. results showed that area, mono cultivation found summer, but winter, areas under different had changed dramatically. mainly occurred north northwest southwest areas, during time highest area rice-potato pattern.
