ABSTRACT
Purpose The evaluation of a construction that allows the exchange circular and unilateral external fixators on same fixation pins to bone in outpatient circumstances during lengthening alignment procedures. Methods Nine children were treated with this concept. After alignment, exchanged for clinic hold position bony parts consolidation phase. Results decrease time needed use fixator treatment was considered be an improvement comfort. Conclusions concept using both combines advantages systems, creates more options different stages deformity correction. Patient comfort is increased by fixator.
