ABSTRACT
Abstract The present study aimed to investigate the effect of cold plasma on developed bio-nanocomposite film. A dielectric barrier discharge system was utilized generate plasma. films were treated under three different times (5, 10 and 15 min) characteristics evaluated. treatment influence thermal stability crystallization films. Results showed that mechanical properties (tensile strength elongation at break), water vapor permeability, oxygen transmission rate, moisture content contact angle improved up 69%, 31%, 34%, 3% 28%, respectively by treatment. In consequence, average O 2 CO concentration packed strawberries decreased from 5 10% 4.2% 5.1%, after days. Finally, results revealed properties, chemical attributes, physical microbial activities samples affected As a result, modification can be applied as an effective method maintain preservation fresh fruit.
