ABSTRACT
The hydrocarbon charge history of the Paleogene in northern Dongpu Depression was analyzed detail based on a comprehensive analysis generation and expulsion major source rocks, fluorescence microscopic features fluid inclusion petrography. There were two main stages oil from rocks. first stage stage. also indicated accumulation. Carbonaceous bitumen, asphaltene bitumen colloidal reflected an early charge, whereas second charge. Hydrocarbon inclusions indicate distinct charges according to diagenetic evolution sequence, petrography combined with homogenization temperature reservoir burial analysis. According these results, divided into phases. phase late Dongying depositional period Oligocene uplift Paleogene. Minghuazhen Pliocene Quaternary. Reservoirs formed during widely distributed covering entire area. In contrast, reservoirs mainly near sags. Vertically, it characterized by single upper layers phases lower
