ABSTRACT
In order to effectively control the floor heave of water-swelling soft rock roadways, the floor heave mechanism of the roadway was analyzed by taking the Jiaoyun Roadway in the No. 31 Sipan area of Anshan Coal Mine as the research object and taking the loading action and hydraulic action as comprehensive influencing factors. The measure of a pressure-relief slot to prevent floor heave was put forward, the mechanical model of pressure-relief slot was established, and a method to determine the width of the pressure-relief slot was given. FLAC3D numerical simulation software was used to study the stress distribution and displacement of the surrounding rock of the roadway under different slot depths and to further determine the parameters of the pressure-relief slot. The results showed that the stress concentration of the roadway angle was reduced, the vertical stress of the floor was transferred deeper, and the deflection of the slot wall absorbed the floor deformation. Field practice has demonstrated that the pressure-relief slot and pressure-relief parameters can effectively control the floor heave of roadways.
