Abstract For the exploration and validation of integration efficient propulsion concepts new technologies for future large passenger aircraft, it is necessary to establish suitable design, evaluation measurement tools. Therefore, as one major activity Large Passenger Aircraft (LPA) Platform 1 Clean Sky 2 initiative, so-called Cross-Capability Demonstrator (XDC), has been set up develop demonstrate powerful numerical experimental methods aerodynamic, aeroacoustics, aeroelastic simulation tasks. The paper will give an overview activities be performed within XDC present some latest achievements related this demonstrator.
