ABSTRACT
In this preliminary study, we demonstrate an environmentally friendly process for the green synthesis of gold nanometre scale particles using leaf extract from indigenous Australian plant Eucalyptus macrocarpa as both stabilising agent and reducing agent. The is straightforward, clean non-toxic. It also has advantages being performed at room temperature does not need complex processing equipment. Formation sized was confirmed characterised by UV-visible spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy field emission scanning microscopy. antibacterial activity synthesised quantified sensitivity method Kirby–Bauer.
