ABSTRACT
Abstract In this work, the (1− x )Bi 0.5 Na TiO 3 - BaNi Nb O (BNT-BNN; 0.00 ⩽ 0.20) ceramics were prepared via a high-temperature solid-state method. The crystalline structures, photovoltaic effect, and electrical properties of investigated. According to X-ray diffraction, system shows single perovskite structure. samples show normal ferroelectric loops. With increase BNN content, remnant polarization ( P r ) coercive field E c decrease gradually. optical band gap narrows from 3.10 2.27 eV. conductive species grains grain boundaries in are ascribed double ionized oxygen vacancies. open-circuit voltage V oc ∼15.7 short-circuit current J sc ∼1450 nA/cm 2 obtained 0.95BNT-0.05BNN ceramic under 1 sun illumination (AM1.5G, 100 mW/cm ). A larger 23 higher 5500 achieved at poling 60 kV/cm same light conditions. study has great application prospects field.
